I just want to thank everyone on this platform. I have been a silent reader and this platform was ready helpful. I was able to find out about the additional gonorrhea requirement on here. My lawyer didn't know about it either. Here's my timeline

Our interview was very simple and unexpected. We were sworn in, and told to sign a paper stating that we chose to continue the interview without our lawyer. The officer asked for my address, asked the yes/no questions on our forms, and that was it. My husband even offered to give the officer addition documents and tons of pictures (We had organized folders of all documents and picture albums) but we were told they had everything. I did however submit my updated medical examination to include the gonorrhea test as I only found out after I sent in my package. We checked our status online after about 5 hours (Interview was at 11am) and my status had changed to "New Card Being Produced". We were so happy and grateful to God for the smooth process. I received my card in the mail on 01/27/2017 (yes it's actually green).
Yes this is a very scary process and for some others very long. Please do not lose hope. Just ensure that you have all your proper documentation sent with your initial package so there isn't any doubt that you indeed have a bonafide marriage. It's their job to scrutinize every application. Once again I thank you all for your posts and advises.
