Waiting for interview date
hi guys, I'm a silent reader for quite a while now, so i want to share my experience.
File concurrently: I-130, I-485 and I-765
AOS based on marriage to a USC
PD: 12/5/16
RFE notice: 1/6/17 tax returns and W2 coz we were not able to submit it
Biometrics done: 1/12/17
RFE receive by USCIS: 1/18/17
Scheduled for interview: 1/27/17
So now is the waiting time, no update about my EAD also.
Just want to ask you guys, specially those who has job offer. When you applied for work they will tell you that they will conduct a background check, how can they do that when we do not have paperworks yet here. coz i tried applying and they told me that they will do the background check, so i told them that I'm still waiting for my employment authorization, and i think that was the reason why i was not called for interview, so now i don't want to apply for work yet coz i don't have the ead yet.
Im just wondering how do you guys do it? Hope you can shed some light for me coz i want to apply for a job and maybe get a job offer and then expedite my ead.
