Hello,
I have applied for Change of status based on marriage with USC. Package was received by USCIS on July, 6th 2016 . USCIS requested evidence, and response was received on Oct 11th 2016.
I have not heard anything from the USCIS since then!
I called the USCIS office on Dec 15th 2016, they said that Raleigh-Durham office is a lil bit behind and still working on cases from June 2016. they advice me to call back in January 15th 2017.
I called back on January but I heard the same response.
Upon check my case status the website saays:
" Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received
On October 11, 2016, we received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSC **** **** **. Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again.
I'am still waiting for them to schedule me for an interview.
Is that a normal delay?!
What should I do?
