I have been lurking in this site for a little over 10 months now so I have to share my experience too to help others, here goes;
Priority Date April 21 2016
Married Nov 2015
April 12- Hubby had lawyer file my I-485, I-130 and I-765 concurrently.
April 27- Got receipt notices in the mail.
May 10- Bometric notice for May 26
May 26- Biometrics done successfully
June 16- Card Ordered for I-765
June 18- Card mailed to me
June 21- USPS delivered card in mailbox
I-485 & I-130
December 30th 2016- scheduled for interview Feb 2nd 2017
Feb 2nd- Interview day;
We went prepared with every document we shared,apartment lease, car documents, GEICO car insurance, Bank statements, health insurance, W2s, pay stubs. Receipts from dinners and other things lasted about 20minutes. Everything was ask d about our relationship and we were confident as we went with our lawyer. The IO said she would approve our case if there were no deragaratory remarks to my name "name check". She asked to keep one of our picture from the wedding day. We left pretty confident we would get approved.
Feb 4- We ordered your new card
Feb 6- I-485 &hi-130 approved
Feb 7- we mailed your card
Feb 10- Card delivered in mailbox
I'm so grateful and now I can finally breathe. I wish everyone else the best of luck on their immigration journey!
