EAD applied late - start date is passed
Here's my situation -
* Graduated in Dec 2016
* Sent packets to USCIS in Dec 2016
* Requested start date is Jan 23rd
My doubts are -
* Will the start date be changed to later date? If so what's the latest date they can give?
* By the time I get my EAD it will be in March and will I lose some of my 12 months OPT period?
* Has my clock already started ticking since Jan 23rd? If so, then I will lose 60 days of unemployment period.
* Since EAD will arrive in March, will I be in good status (legally) until I receive it?
