6 months - California
This past week I have been checking the USCIS website for a change of status everyday! but nothing happened. As I went to check the mail today I seen a USCIS notice. Thinking it would probably be a Change of Address notification. but nope, This time it was the interview appointment! (YEEEY!)

So here is my time line for California (Fresno):
10/25/2016 Received Application
11/07/2016 Accepted the Fee for fingerprints
11/28/2016 Appointment for Biometrics (didn't receive it, lawyer didn't come back to me with date)
12/05/2016 Went in for biometrics
12/06/2016 Received a Request for evidence.
12/23/2016 Evidence received
02/07/2017 Sent Noticed I-797C for Appointment
03/14/2017 Appointment for Interview

So it took about 5 - 6 months from start to finish.
Right now I am already overstaying my b2 visa by 1 month (was valid till January 2nd). And I do not feel OK about that (what if I get pulled over) but I know I am allowed to because I have a active USCIS case.

For those who are impatient as I got this last week.. It will be worth it.
Just hope I get through the interview because this is super important for me and a life's goal (previous country all mindset was to move to the US).

Send prayers people!
