Whoever has their receipt already for adjustment of status are eligible to get either ID or DL depends on you, bit you can't have both according to the States law.. All you need to do is to check with your dps office around you to know if your state allows you with your uscis receipts to get your state identity issued while green card is pending. I stay in Texas and it worked for me, I have a year valid DL in my hand. I hope this helps you guys. Have a blessful valentines with your love ones.
