Green Card Thru Marriage
Hi All,
I want to get opinions on my case. I recently got remarried to my USC Husband 4 months after getting a divorce judgement from my previous marriage. We are planning to submit my petition for green card but I don't know if immigration will give us a hard time since my previous marriage was with a woman (I'm attracted to men a woman) and it was a short marriage. Things didn't worked out between us and we submit divorce after six months of marriage but we were actually separated after 4 months of marriage. She never petitioned for me.
On the other hand, I met my husband two weeks before I submit my divorce and we started dating right after. So, in total my husband and I had a 10 months relationship before we got married. Do you think this will be any type of issue. I spoke to my attorney, he said there is no issue with that, However I want to hear opinions. Please comments. Any one with a similar case?Thanks
