Advance parole advice
Hi guys! My name is Maria and I'm from NC. So I'm really scared and excited because I received my travel document for advance parole mailed in last Friday. Is effective from February 15th to April 17th. It does say on the paper parole is approved for one day. I was very confused but my immigration attorney clarified that it does not mean is only good for one day to be out. They told me if I'm going out, that I need to do it ASAP because if Trump decides to terminate daca while being out of the country I will get stuck and not be allowed to enter in usa. I'm planning to leave this weekend the 18th or maybe the next weekend on Friday February 24 and come back Sunday 26th. I'm a little bit concerned because last Tuesday February 7th I got a citation for unlawful tint window, the inspector who stopped me told me I had 14 days to take off the tint from Windows and I had to take my car to the dmv so it could get inspected. He also gave me a court date for April 11th. So my husband took off the tint 2 days later and I took my car to the dmv on Friday the 10th. I was seen by the same guy who stopped my that day, he just took a glance at my car and said it pass inspection. He wrote me a paper saying it's a waiver to not lose it and give to the judge on my court date, that judge should dismiss my case and I shouldn't pay anything. So I'm scared that this might affect me for me to travel to mexico and that when I go thru the airport they're gonna look at that citation i have and won't let me come back in. Honestly I don't even know if that is a misdemeanor or traffic ticket. I'm planning to get an attorney tho, so he can present the waiver to the judge, I don't feel safe going by myself to court. Can someone please advise me what to do?? Is unlawful tint window a bad record for a daca recipient??
