My wife is USC and I'm filing I-485 and I have my interview in couple weeks, I've been in the US for a year and 2 months and i never worked or filed taxes here, my wife works and now she received her W2 for 2016, is she supposed to file taxes jointly before the interview? does it matter? I also don't have health insurance because i only recently started my job. is that ok?
