From H1 toPR on family based visa
Hey all!
Need some advice and help in making some decisions.
I am on my H1 at present, working in California, and my husband is a US citizen working in North Carolina. We got married in Jan 2017 and just applied for my PR - I130/I485/I765 on Feb 13 2017.
1. My husband received three email notifications with three different receipt#. We haven't received the mail yet. Could it be that these three receipt# he got are for i130, i485 & i765? If not, why 3 different receipt numbers?
2. I want to move to NC asap which would mean I have to quit my job in CA and let go of my H1 status immediately (no notice period required). Can I do that without the receipt & still be in US legally?
