Marriage based AOS in NJ, husband on DACA
Hello everyone! My name is Jaida, this website has been a huge help to me so I decided to post updates on mine and my husbands experience through our journey of AOS.
I am 19 and a US citizen, born here, and my husband is 20, he is protected under DACA for work and education. We have just begun our process by gathering all necessary paperwork and coming up with the $$$ for filing fees. The office we will be having our interview at is in Newark, NJ.
Does anyone have any advice to offer or experiences to share recently with the Newark, NJ office? Any pointers?
I will update this post as we continue on. We will be meeting with our lawyer in the next few days to finish preparing our paperwork.
