Hi all,
My timeline so far (I485 based on marriage to USC), filed at Chicago Lockbox:
12/06/2016: PD
01/09/2017: Biometrics
02/21/2017: (Day 77) contacted USCIS to request for expedited processing of EAD based on financial hardship - explained that I have a small baby of 9 months and that my wife is the only one who has a job, and our expenses barely are met through her wages. Also mentioned that I have a job offer to start on March 1st.
02/23/2017: (Day 79) USCIS assigned my case to an officer for response
02/23/2017: (Day 79) " your request to have your case expedited was completed"
02/27/2017: (Day 83): I still don't have an update on my EAD. I am confused as to what it means by "my request was completed", as my request was for expediting the EAD application and there hasn't been an update on that.
Any thoughts or experiences would be highly appreciated.
