Interview prep advice
I really appreciate the candor of everyone sharing on this site. Great group therapy.
I married a US citizen last fall. I'm from Canada. Reside in NYC
Using a lawyer to file my papers via Chicago.

Notice date for biometrics: 2/11/17
Scheduled biometrics appt: 2/2717

Hoping to receive EAD in next month and interview in next 7 months, which seems to be the average, although some have received interview earlier, and some certainly have suffered without any authorization for much longer.

I'd love to know more about what to prepare for the interview and what to bring.
What have been some really curve ball questions thrown at interviewees?
We got married city hall before Christmas and rode the holiday festivities (i.e. lots of parties) but didn't have a real wedding party. Lots of photos of us with friends.
We went to Miami on honeymoon. Going to Austin next month. But none of the real organized celebrations of "typical" weddings"
We live together obviously but the lease is in her name. Really problematic NYC landlord (trying to raise rent illegally) and I don't want to have to bother getting my name on the lease.
We have a shared bank account and we share expenses. Do I really have to get utility bills in my name?
I have photos of me with her sister and nephews but her parents are deceased and her brother estranged so no pics with him.
Hopefully pics with my parents and/ or sis if they visit US before interview.
Otherwise we are having fun, enjoying our marriage and looking forward to my Green Card so we can go scuba diving in the Maldives!
But... I feel that I should be taking the pre-interview process a little more diligently.

Thanks for any advice you can share!!
