Why N-400 takes too long?
Filing N-400 and do BIO, with all the sending/receiving letter and paperwork usually takes just 2 or 3 weeks. (including background check)
Anyone know why the scheduling an appointment is taking too long?

https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/article/chapter3.pdf
here on Question 13 USCIS says:
Become naturalized takes to an average of 6 months after the Form N-400 is filed.

They just keep the case for 6 months and then give interview appointment? Or there is a processes and with providing more information or makes them more clear we can help to speed up the process?
