Adjustment of Status - I-485

Hello All…Good day,

Here is my experience - My GC travel completed in 5 months around time.

My wife is a US Citizen.

->Applied Family Based AOS: Chicago, IL
->Application filed in the last week of September 2016.
->USCIS received I-765, I-130 & I-140 forms and gave receipt no's on 6th October 2016.
->Received & Replied REF regarding - typo in count of Household and some Taxation explanation.
->Attended Bio-Metrics on 8th November 2016.
->Received GC-EAD on 9th December 2016.
->Attended GC Final Interview on 6th February 2017.
->Interview: Had an awesome interview, IO was very calm, cool and smiling – She asked few questions to my wife and I openly explained how we meet and all general questions she asked. She got convinced and felt very happy regarding our journey. She didn’t ask any docs apart from our passport and ID proofs. But, I voluntary shown all the required documents and pics to her. At the end, she said she is good with our case and we need to produce missing test results report of Gonorrhea and confirmed us that, she will work on our case only once after receiving the missing medical report.
->I-130 Approved on 7th February 2017.
->REF on Medical: Missing Gonorrhea medical results, Replied on 10th February.
->New Card is Being Produced 21nd February 2017.
->I-485 Approved on 22nd February 2017.
->Card was Mailed to me on 24nd February 2017.
->Finally received Green Card on 28th February 2017.
