I had visa interview for H1B renewal on feb 27 at Chennai consulate. Got approved with straight forward questions. My Visa officer looked strict as he rejected 2 visa app in front of me so I was nervous. Those 2 guys were for F1 and he wasn't convinced their case was legitimate so gave them 221g blue form I think.<br>

My questions: <br>
- what's your petitioner name<br>
- how long have you been with company<br>
- are you going to work at client site<br>
- do you have bachelor's <br>
- what's your salary<br>
- what does your company do<br>
- what's your role<br>

He made quite a few notes and realised later that mine was renewal. After a minute of looking around in his system quietly, he said the soothing words "your visa is approved have a good trip".<br>

I think if your case is straight forward and you have all docs then you should have no problems. <br>
He only needed my passport. Nothing else but please take all support docs and required ones to be sure.<br>
