Confused Over my Priority date
My wife(U.S Citizen now) filed an I-130 in June 2016 on my behalf. USCIS received it on June 27, 2016. The I-130 was approved on December, 2016 and the approval letter has same priority date of June 27, 2016. Then in January 25th, 2017. I filed I-485 and I-765 both was received by USCIS on January 27, 2017. The surprise thing on the Notice of Action letter is that it has a Priority of June 27, 2016, which is the priority date of my already approved I-130. I expected my Priority date to be January 27, 2017. Does anyone know why it is so ?
