For those who want to know....interview experience
Federal plaza, march 7th 2017

It was more of a conversation, consultation type interview. For the most part she was chatting with my husband about the military and things that he needed to update in the military ( he's in the Army reserves) and I think the IO was in the military or something because she knew a lot about the military .

Anyhow, the first thing she asked was if we had brought an updated medical and I handed it to her, she even commented saying everything was good with my medical. I was like thanks (like I had expected it not to be good lol). She then asked my husband for our address, and I think she directed that question to him because none of his identifications had our current address however mine did. She then asked what's my husband D.O.B then she asked him the same about mine.

She asked how did me meet, how was the proposal. My husband is a shy guy so when he was telling the story is kept laughing, she said you are I shy one I see and we laughed. When my husband was talking about the day he proposed, he made reference to the fact that he had made a great meal for me however until this day i have never eaten his food, he was like hes still mad at that, im super picky with food, not adventurous at all. And we prepare food differently (cultural diffefences). She joked saying i should try his food and make him happy. She asked if I know his parents, I said I never met them in paerso however I talk to his mom on a regular basis, she then asked what's their names. She asked my husband the same question about knowing my parents, his answer was the same, never talked to my dad however speaks with my mom very regularly, he even added that my mom would send his spiritual and motivational quotes daily (which she actually does, grrrrrrrrr spamming my phone) then she asked him what's the name of my parents. She was asking us questions while cross referencing our original documents with the copies we sent in with the file (birth certificate, naturalization certificate, passports).

Another question she asked my husband was how many siblings I have, he did say 1 because that the one I'm closer to and he had met my sis so he added that. I added my two piece in and said I have more siblings on my dad side but we not so close, she didn't seemed to mind my interjection, she actually helped me finished my statement. She asked if I knew his siblings which I had conversations with over the phone as well but she didn't asked how many he had.

Then they chatty again about military and money they get based on household, blah blah blah....

Then she asked for joint docs, I gave her everything which included ; back account statements ( please take yall debit cards because she asked for them, and she made copies too) car insurance, joint tax return, health insurance, and lease.

She asked if we had any pics to show, I had a pic album with like 300 pictures and I photo book I had created of our wedding pics ( get it free from shutterfly, so I'm was, why not lol) she just flipped thru them, I was a tad bit disappointed because I had some great photos we wanted her to see but oh well.

She asked of there were anything else we wanted to add and there was nothing so we said no, she talked about the conditional green card and how and when I would remove the condition. She said I should heard something in 120 days and if not I should make an info pass but I should worry because I should be good. She even asked where will we be going first, his home country or mine, and I said mine and she said he would love it there. So I was kinda confused when she handed me this letter with my case will be reviewed bs but I soon to realized other got that letter too.

Oh , for my f-1 students like me who are “straight outta status” sorry I couldn’t help myself, don’t worry about it. She asked me about why I stopped going to school but she asked rather nonchalantly, I was honest, my sponsor have to direct his investments elsewhere and unfortunately my studies suffered by that however I did tried online classes which were cheaper but it was just not for me, I’m more of an interactive learner, and again she helped me finished my answer, she was quiet understanding.
Today I goy my update and based on the info, I was approved the same day, the online update saide, " on March 7th, 2017, your application for ....was approved" however I got the update today.

Guys please brings, copies and the original of everything, and it's nothing to worry about, be cool and don’t be afriad to speak about little conflicts because sometimes it's gives your relationship character and sustance but be smart about what you say.

Cheers.
