OCI CARD is still pending at NY Embassy for more than 2 months
I applied for OCI card in the beginning of Jan 2017. Finally the application reached the NY Embassy on 10-JAN-2017 as it is shown in the government website.
It is more than two months now but still the following status is shown on the Government website,
Documents Printing Status UNDER-PROCESS
I reached out to CKGS, they asked to reach out to embassy via email [email protected] to understand why it is delayed so. Had anyone similar experience in the past and reached out to embassy via email and got response from embassy?
CKGS say they can't do anything if embassy doesn't come back. My concern is even if there is something wrong with the application, i should have at least got a notification. I haven't got any. CKGS keep saying wait for some more time. Any suggestion would be helpful?
