Father adjustment of status question
Hi guys !
I have a question , my mom will apply for citizenship next year and my dad has already his I-130 approved , my mom will apply for adjustment of his status as soon as she becomes US citizen , here is my question she wants to be his sponsor and don't want a joint sponsor ... so regarding income, does she needs to have a gross income for 2015 and 2016 over the guideline poverty? I'm asking this because I called Uscis and they told me the person only needs one year acomplishing the poverty guidelines.
Please , if any of you knows about it please let me know , I don't want her having problems and getting a joint sponsor because of that .... sometimes you get information from the representatives but is not accurate.
