Hello guys, been here on this forum for a while now and really find it helpful., I hope you can give me some advice and enlighten me with my situation, please i really need your help to applicants out there who had situation like mine.,
My PD was Sept 7,2016 i485 , i131 AOS Marriage based, still case ready to be scheduled for an interview since Dec.5,2016., we never thought the process will take forever then I finally applied for my i765,and i131 Advanced Parole receipts received January 29,2017 Me and My Husband have already purchased our tickets since last year we thought I will have my GC by the time we leave on April., But bec of too much delays on the process now we are trying to expedite my AP,
we went in for infopass last week and IO gave us the chance to show documents stating the urgency of our trip on April 7., will be staying for 2 weeks in the Philippines then she said all my documents are not sufficient enough but I can come back for another InfoPass just make another appt online.,and I did, which I will be back next week for another appt. So I have all the documents I have to show the IO copies of the letters proving that my 2 children are graduating from college, i requested the letters from their respective College stating their names and date of the said graduation on April 10., Plus picking up my youngest daughter 17yo who will be coming with us when we come back here in the US., My husband applied for her Petition as step daughter i130 and was granted her Immigrant Visa and we dont want her to travel alone., This is very important to us bec I havent seen my children for 5 years., Now my biggest questions is
Is it safe for an overstayed filer with pending cases i485,i130, i765 like me to travel with Advanced Parole??
Ive been reading other cases but I cant find any situation like mine and I am really running out of time the IO said come back next week 10 days prior to my urgent flight back home ., I am so heartbroken and I feel very sad not to be with my children on their graduation day , We wanted to set them up for the transition in life. as a parent, and a mother It breaks my heart everytime i think of my situation., Please anyone your advice would really mean to me. Thank you so much... T_T
