I have been down for quite a very long time since my lawyer submitted my paperwork in November.

I emailed my lawyer three days ago about my frustration and anguish. She told me USCIS was actually in order and on time with the way my case is being handled. I totally disagree with that response from her. In my mail to her, I told her she needed to get in touch with USCIS but she made it known everything was in order. In fact, I shared some similar cases like mine with her that got adjudicated within 120 days and she said cases are different. But what is stopping my EAD at this moment?
I have not been sleeping well and lost appetite. My wife didn't agree with me using a lawyer from day one. She said if we had to use a lawyer then she was the one to choose this lawyer. In fact, her mother said we should file ourselves. Right now my wife is unhappy with the whole issue. We struggle a lot to handle this moment.
Today I called USCIS and made inquiry about my case. I got the shock of my life. The rep told me I did not show up for Biometric. My biometric appointment was January 9th but I went in early and did my fingerprint on January 5th and I have document to proof that. The rep told me they sent me a mail on March 9 indicating I missed biometric appointment. I didn't get the mail. I remember my lawyer told me 2nd RFE was issued and she expected the mail to come to her office but shockingly, the 2nd RFE mail came to our house. How this lawyer chose for the USCIS to be sending mail to our house is beyond me. All the correspondence suppose to be going to her but as it is today, she as screwed this thing up.
I am not happy with my lawyer. I regret every using a lawyer. Now my wife has put the blame on me. She just doesn't like this law office. She just doesn't feel their service. The annoying part is for the lawyer to be second guessing us.
I need all the advice I can get. Please, what should I do at the moment?
