Finding out what your SR says - Tip
Hi all,
So i know a lot of us have raised SRs and it has been assigned to an officer and closed immediately saying they have responded to us. I just called uscis customer service to figure out what the SR response said because the customer service representative can actually read the comments on the SR. I just said i am very confused since i haven't received anything on my email and i checked my junk/spam folder. i asked are you able to see what the SR says- she somehow agreed and said they sent a reply by "mail" not email and read out what the SR said which basically said my EAD is within normal processing time and i should wait. She herself was confused why they said withing normal processing time because as of today i am day 97 and she said normal usually means 75-90
So one tip to see what the response on your SR until you get it in mail is to call customer service and nudge them to read it out for you. They will say they can't see the response but in reality by entering your name , date of birth and zip code, they can read it out for you- depends on whether the person is willing to do it or not.
Patience is needed and mine is running out- i REALLY hope i get my EAD soon
