EAD MAILED /QUESTION

@ross rmg, so I just got a text message that my EAD was mailed. I'm super happy now.....yeahhh!
Now, I have a question about interview and EAD SR on behalf of my friend... So my friend went on her Green Card interview today, but got a RFE instead of an approval... Her EAD is still at, "Case was received." Do you guys think it will be a good move for her to open a SR for the EAD although she went to her interview today and got a RFE?
She was told that she does not have enough pictures for proof . They interviewed she and her husband together and then separate them after. My friend also told the IO that they have known each other for 5 months and then get married... I have no clue why they separated them..... What do you guys think?
I need all y'll input please. Its important.
