Adjustment of Status - I-485

 I am currently going through Adjustment of Status with USCIS. I am yet to get EAD. I saw a post earlier about a lady going through what I'm going through. I said to myself, why don't you open an account here today and share my story too. I am in a very serious abusive relationship. I am a man. Abusive relationship is not limited to women alone. I have been going through mental and emotional torture from my wife of four years. The torture is unbearable to the extent that she has driven me to suicide few times. I am trying to be strong. I'm in tears typing this post.. How can a man report an abusive relationship and be believed? It is almost impossible. This mental torture has been happening for three plus years. She is a lot younger than me. She threatens me with deportation on daily basis. I go out and wash cars everyday in the cold or sun. She takes all the money. I'm always out there looking for money as I don't have papers. If she asks for money and I don't have it, she resorts to threat to call immigration that I don't have papers and be deported, verbal abuse, insult. Some of these abuses are in form of phone calls, texts, and email or one on one. I lost my mother at 1.51am last Saturday and she was the first to know. I got the text while she was abusing me and I was crying. I told her what had just happened and she wouldn't say sorry for the loss. She continued to insult me and abused me up till Wednesday morning. She told me she didn't "give a fuck" about what happened. I have all the texts of what she said few minutes after the death of my dear mother.

On December 29, she told me she was going to Florida to spend time with a family member and I said okay. To my surprise in early January I found she was actually walking down the aisle with another man on December 31. On that faithful day that she was walking down the aisle with another man, she was busy texting me early in the morning to go and send her money through western union as she was in Florida and ready to come back home to meet me. Can you see how wicked this girl is? I got pictures of her walking down the aisle with another man through facebook. I confronted her. She said the marriage wasn't legit. She said she did it all for fun. I said that couldn't be true. I got the shock of my life when I found out she got pregnant. The pregnancy couldn't be mine because we have not had sex for a long time. She won't let me and I don't want to either. With my situation, she said we should still go ahead with adjustment of status and do the interview when called. I told her I married you for love and still want to be with her. You told me you wanted me so bad and we started a life together and got married. Now the lease has just ended on March 2 and she has moved in with another man while we still talk everyday. And she's still texting, emailing and calling me to send her money or else. How wicked can a lady be with this behavior and mental torture she has been giving me? I am currently staying with friends. The abuse is unbearable. She told me I have nothing and not working and that is why she got another man who has a job. She told me she doesn't want to be with a lazy man who can't go out and work hard to take care of her. I told her my situation is what is preventing me from getting a good job but I work hard doing cars and giving you the money. I pay rent and other bills while you do nothing. She used to work but she quit. The little money I make from odd jobs I do around she's the one taking the money from me with so much threat. I don't have good clothes. I work so hard and have nothing. The threat and mental torture from her are unbearable.

I still want to be with her and solve this problem. Now she has been threatening me with a divorce and deportation or cancel the whole AOS process because se sees me as lazy and hopeless man who doesn't want to work. She threatened to contact immigration unless I find her money. I have been paying $195 per month on the car she's driving. In fact the man is using the car I pay for every month. She said I don't do anything for her and her son who doesn't have a father. I give all I have to her but all I get back is abuse and threat to call immigration to deport me.

I am mentally beaten down. I am going through mental torture and hard time. USCIS has not done well or helped my matter. The process has been hard and too long. Who is going to listen to my story that me being a man suffering abuse from a woman?

There is so much to list here but I cannot just write everything here. There are shocking details of mental torture she has been putting me through.

I'm suicidal now.
