Requesting Advance Parole (Immigration walk in)
He everyone!

I have decided to share my advance parole journey with you all since this forum is what gave me the straight to start the process in the first place.

 Current Status: DACA (since 2012)
Married to US Citizen since 2014

Like most of you in the forum who share a similar experience I too am afraid of the unknown with the new presidential administration. For the past couple of years I contemplated the idea to begin adjusting my status through my husband who is a us citizen. I kept putting it off with the hope that the Differed Action would turn into something more permanent and I would be able to fix my situation without having to do the process through my husband. Well now i regret not starting the process right away and waiting. Things are getting very difficult and now that I got an opportunity to request advance parole, I decided that the risk is well worth it. I contacted an attorney, got all of the required documents and decided to be able to speed up the process to walk in my request for advance parole to the immigration office here in Sacramento. My attorney has helped many others in my same situation go into the process and thankfully they have all made it back safely. I have my appointment this coming Tuesday the 11th. I am praying to get approved and if I am I would receive the approval that same day and I would be allowed to travel right away. My husband and I have already talked about flying that weekend in a direct flight to Guadalajara and coming back early that week. My mom is having anxiety and says I shouldn't risk it buy this forum has given me a positive outlook. I don't have any legal issues pending, I had a driving without a license ticket, and running over a stop sigh about 7 years ago but i payed those tickets and didn't even have to go to court. other than that my record is clean. I keep telling my self I have nothing to worry about so i can keep my sanity until my appointment next week. But the truth is I am very nervous and scared. I just hope i get the approval on Tuesday, that will be the first major hurtle ............your prayers would be very helpful!! :)
