Green card me and my daughter
Thanks to all of you, this forum had help me a lot with the wait for me and my daughter, a very stressful process but finally got well.
08/23/2016 – Priority Day
09/03/2016 – Notice Biometric
09/20/2016 – Biometrics appointment
11/09/2016 – Call USCIS for EAD
11/10/2016 – Status changed to “we ordered your EAD Card”
02/29/2017 – Interview Notice
03/30/2017 – USCIS Interview–approved on the spot for me and my daughter
Interview experience
We walk in and 5 min later an officer call my wife in and ask her how we met, first date, joint documents, insurance that we don’t have yet because my daughter doesn’t have SS, she didn’t see the photos, then she call me alone and ask my name, address, phone number, i-485 questions, work then told me she is going to approved the petition and she didn’t need to see my daughter then she went out just for courtesy to ask her how she is doing in school and told my wife about the approval.
My daughter online status changed to approved then card mailed to you, mine is still in named changed since march 30th, overall the interview was very nice and short about 30min.
Hope this post get you all some confidence in the process because the wait I know is traumatic/
