Soooooooooo here's my story. My appointment was this morning at 8:55am. We got to the San Bernardino, CA immigration office around 8:20am. It took us about 10 minutes to go through security. There were a lot of people! parking was an issue. We went upstairs to the second floor & checked in. We waited for about an hour to be called in. They said they were running behind so be patient. It was the longest hour of my life! I think waiting to be called in was the most nerve wrecking part! Once called in the officer swore us in & then started to go through all of my paperwork. He asked me questions about our relationship & how we met. I think the entire interview was 30-45 mins long. HERE'S ONE PART THAT WENT WRONG: MY MEDICAL EXAM. Ok so apparently they changed the forms that the civil surgeon fills out and seals so you can send to immigration as of February 2017. My medical exam was submitted in December. The part that was missing was the results for gonorrhea! There is NO space for the doctor to fill out positive/negative in the old forms! If you have submitted your medical exam please make sure you have the new forms for your interview!!!!!! And make sure gonorrhea is listed!!!!! The officer was nice enough to give me an RFE for the gonorrhea test & even let me go back the same day to take it to him. I just called my doctors office & explained to them what happened. They were already aware of the change & accommodated me to pick up the new medical exam the same day! I picked it up & took it to the officer (a whole day of driving around!) I checked in again & within a few minutes the officer came out. I gave him the new SEALED medical exam & he asked me if I wanted to wait while he reviewed it? YES! I said & sat down.He came back like 10 minutes later & said "congratulations I approved your case!" OMG I was ecstatic! He shook my hand and gave me the approval notice. Within the hour my status online changed to "New card is being produced!" I am so happy! I also wanted to share the exam problem that I encountered to hopefully save some of you time & headaches. Please make sure the medical exam is up to date! If not, get a new one to take with you to the interview. One sealed for the IO & a copy for you.

Good luck to everyone!
