Hello all, does anyone know if I have to apply for a travel permit from USCIS even if I abandon the application for adjustment of status or they deny my adjustment of status? Do I have to do this or just leave the country without notifying them? I believe there is a 3-year ban and a 10-year ban, in which case I will leave the country before 180 days are up so I won't be in trouble in case ( just in case) I reapply. Thank you.
