FOLLOW UP FOR "currently out"
Hello, everyone I got many responses as to give follow-up with what happened. I created a an experience called "currently out" on 04/03/2017. Please look at this so you can see what happened.
My husband left Hermosillo, mex, traveled to mexico city, then to Orlando International yesterday on 04/09/2017.
When he arrived at Orlando international he called me to say he had arrived and would turn of his phone.
this happened at 11:04 am and at 11:49 am, he called me to say he got his parole stamp!
he said that when he arrived, the official took his fingerprints, took a pic then led him to a second room. in the second room, the official took all his docs, DACA card, Parole docs, and checked it and asked my husband "will you be adjusting your status?" my husband said he didn't know because his mother was ill and that was more on his mind. (in reality he wanted to say "yes" but we warned him not to because you don't know if the official can interpret that as bad or good)
so the official asked him if he was a Dreamer, my husband said yes, and then my husband got his stamp on both docs and passport. He was given one copy back and passport. He said thank you and my husband was on his way. My husband told me the officials that he interacted with were Hispanics and talked to him in Spanish and they were professional, they never treated him diff.
So, there you go! prayer does work, please pray to God, and always leave everything in his hands. He listens
please note my husband has a domestic violence record from 2010 and he almost not went because of that. But the forums here have helped us so much, and it wasn't easy to convince him to go.
Today we have an apt with a lawyer for adjustment of status. my husband said that his bag wasn't checked, he only brought a handbag. My husband also brought proof from a medical dr in mexico of his mother's medical condition, he also got his mother's birth certificate translated, and got a city's government of approval on the docs.
He left form 04/01 till 04/09. he traveled through aero México(very reliable) we prepared all docs for possible questioning. He also brought his police clearance letter and final decision form the court that the domestic violence case was not convicted.(before he left to mexico)
But please if you have reservations, please contact me. We live in southwest Florida, and one of the lawyer warned us that Tampa/Orlando are more relaxed with immigration and Miami is horrible!
But everything worked out well, I thank you all and please again, pray, pray, pray, believe in the impossible, because God will show you.
Thank you all
