Advance Parole

Hey guys,
   Just wanted to give you all an update about my info pass appointment I had this morning. I was not granted AP, I was told I needed to mail it in. The first person who checked me in was a male and he was very nice. Once he looked through all my papers he gave me a number and asked me to have a seat and that a case specialist would be calling me shortly. The set up reminded me of the DMV, I was the only one in waiting. I then heard a lady at another window asking the guy who checked me in what I needed, he told her I had was requesting AP to go see my brother who was ill and I had not seen. For over 2o years. Then my number got called, she looked through my docs and told me that at this time they were only approving dire cases, and she didn't think mind was considered such. She then continued to tell me that I needed to mail in the request, to expedite it so that the process could go much faster than the regular request because she did understand it was still an emergency. She handed me my papers back and said I'm sorry. At first I was very confused and disappointed. I called my attorney and gave her the news. She told me to stop by her office since it was close to where the oppointment took place and droop all the documents so she could expedite them right away. She told me not to worry that I'm about two weeks we should be hearing back and hopefully we would get good news.....
