Just got my green card application approved last Friday! Want to share my timeline and interview experiences.
The online status tracking site didn't really work for me. There wasn't any status update, and all the updates i got (biometrics appointment, interview appointment, etc.) were through mail.
I applied for EAD and AP as well but actually never got those prior to my interview.

Our appointment was at 9:30am and we got there at 9am, and waited till 10am before we got called in. The officer was really nice and friendly. She first asked my husband (USC) for his name, address, phone #, birth date / place, and whether he sponsored AOS before. Then she asked for my name, phone #, birth date / place, last entry date, which visa I was on, my parents' names, and whether I've applied before. She then asked both of us (either of us could answer) when and how did we meet. My husband shared with her our story, why we moved to LA, and also our wedding planning (we got married last year and plan to have our wedding in June). We were really just chatting about wedding planning at this point. She then asked if we had any additional documents / photos to show her and made copies (car insurance, joint bank statements, rental agreements, wedding receipts, photos with family members and friends). We were approved on the spot.
