God and Life is GOOD!
I am the petitioner, USC, for my husband, and am thrilled to report that our wait is OVER, and we can live the life of love without that constant fear and uncertainty that loomed throughout the daunting immigration process. I wanted to share our timeline, and send hope and prayers to those still patiently waiting on the immigration tarmac:

PD 12/20/16 Concurrent i130/i485-Local Office: Greer, SC
12/23/16-National Center received paperwork
**completed i693(medical exam) in early January 2017
1/7/17-notice of biometrics for 1/26/17
1/26/17-biometrics done
2/9/17-case is ready to be scheduled for interview
2/13/17-interview scheduled for 3/28/17
3/28/17-interview, no decision--limbo
3/28/17-new card is being produced (EAD)
4/4/17-we mailed your card (EAD)
4/6/17-receievd EAD
4/7/16-new card is being produced (GREEN CARD, THE CARD, WHAT, WHAT?!?)
4/7/17-your i485 for adjustment of status has been approved
4/11/17-we mailed your card (GREEN CARD--pinch us...is this real??!)
4/14/17--GREEN CARD in HAND
4/14/17--THE DAY MY HUSBAND and I REMOVED THE SHACKLES OF FEAR AND UNCERTAINTY, EXHALED!

This journey has been SO many things. I/we learned a lot through the process. Most of all we learned to believe that God takes care of those whose intentions are pure, whose only want/need is to live a life filled with great friendship, love, and to honor the institution of marriage. It's ALL SO many of want and deserve--a life without fear of separation and persecution. We pray for all of you entangled in your own struggle--a struggle to prove your own values and rights often mirror those of people who are blessed to never have to prove that such values and rights are genuine, bonafide. May God give you the strength to persevere so that you can life a life of love and peace--void of fear and uncertainty.
