Green Card in hand
Hi All
So my wife got her physical green card today after almost 5 months
-11/4/2016 sent the application i-485 and i-765. her I130 was submitted in 7/2015 and approved in 7/ 2016
-11/7/2016 her PD
-12/6 done with biometric
-12/22 RFE requesting her birth certificate
-12/28/2016 uscis received it
- 01/13/17 ready for interview
-03/02/17 went for info pass and argued with the officer for an hour to get our case assigned to an officer as she needed health insurance urgently
- 03/02/17 same day of info pass her EAD card approved and in production
-03-03-17 second day of info pass her interview was schedule to be on 04/12/17
-04/12/17 interview was 15 minutes, officer verified info on I485, ask yes/no questions, verified info on G325 ( father, mother names, her work history). we had our baby in the interview, officer told me to look after the baby while he was questioning my wife. at the end he asked me where I work and what is my title. then he told us that he will approve her. 10 minutes later case updated to card in production, then case approved. yesterday case updated to card was mailed and I got the tracking through USPS , it supposed to be delivered tomorrow but I called usps and told them that I want to come and get it since it delivered there an hour ago. finally we have it and I book my wife a ticket to go and see her family after 2 years here with 1.5 year out of status
