Conditional GC Approved- San Francisco
Hello All!!!
Interview a success! Thank God and thank you all.
PD: August 15, 2016
Ready to be scheduled for interview: Oct 2016/ No RFE
Scheduled for interview on March 17,2017 for April 19,2017
Before the interview we met our lawyer to talked about the requirements and the interview itself. I asked him if i need to update my medical since it was done before the gonorrhea requirement. He said to just wait until the interview.

Our schedule is 2:30 and we were only 10 mins early. We only waited for maybe about 10 mins. The IO looks young, he's nice but he asked a lot of questions. the interview lasted for one hour.
He first asked for our IDs. Then swears us in. He asked me first, my name/bday/place of birth and also my husband's info.
Then he asked about the first time I arrived here. My visa, how long was my original stay. I told him I was supposed to stay for only 2 weeks to take a licensure exam, but i failed so I scheduled it again and decided to use the 6 months that was given to me. Then he asked why i decided not to leave anymore and I told him I took some bad advice and he also inquired about that. Then IO asked if im working now, where and what job. If im driving and if i want to drive since I only have a California ID.
He asked what our bank is , where we live, who lives with us and if we have a lease together. We told him we have a letter from out landlord. IO asked me if i want kids and how many and what are our plans now. He didn't asked us for any documents, though our lawyer gave him a bunch of documents at the start of the interview.
He then asked my husband his information, then my parent's names. IO inquired about his jobs. He had a lot before his current one and the IO asked about each one (when they started and ended). He explained that since my husband is petitioning me, he needs to make sure our income is enough. Then IO asked if my husband has a letter from his current employer and we gave him one with pay stubs attached. He told us that he needed to asked his supervisor if the income is ok. So he went out. When he came back, he said everything looks good and that he is approving my gc. He then explained about the conditional gc.
He didn't asked for any pictures and the medical wasn't mentioned. There were other questions i just forgot sorry.
We are just glad that this is over. We can now relax.....until we renew the gc ;))
