Marriage to green card holder
I am a Canadian currently stay in the US with my boyfriend (same sex). I have been allowed to stay in the US only a month and just did an extension; the result has not been approved yet.
We plan to get married as soon as my BF meets the 5 years of holding his green card(in April 2019). I don't want to return to Canada anymore but will stay in the US illegally and will apply the green card once time allows.
We do not want to separate or leave each other. You guys have any advise what I suppose to do ignorer to stay legally while waiting my BF to meet 5 years in order to apply his US citizen?
