Advanced Parole
hello everyone, here is my experience
I came to the united states with my family in 1999. I was only 8 years old. I applied for DACA in march 2016. On November 2016 I was approved. I talked to my lawyer and asked if he recommended me to apply for Advanced parole. I was very honest and told him I had been stopped many times by the police for traveling without license and insurance, and also for passing a stop sign. I had showed him my record and told him I paid I was up to date. I also told him I was currently on on SR22 for 3 years. My lawyer told me that I was fine to travel. So my wife and I decided to apply for advanced parole in November 2016. on march 2017 I was approved to travel. My brother and I traveled to Guadalajara Jalisco together. Our trip was planned from April 17-22 ,2017. I was very excited to see my ill grandmother after 18 years. my whole trip my family and I where praying constantly for a miracle to Mexico and back to Chicago safe. We flew from Chicago midway airport to Guadalajara Jalisco. on the 22nd we flew from mexico back to Chicago. when we landed there was a big line. after finally seeing an immigration officer I gave my two advanced parole papers. the immigration officer asked me how long have I been in the US. I told her since 1999. she also asked how old was I , I told her I wsa 8 years old. She asked me if I had a criminal record. I told her that I only got pulled over for passing a stop sign. after that she stamped my advanced parole, and told me if I wanted to travel again to not pass the dates given on my advanced parole. it only took 10 mins and I was on my way home. Everyone that has advanced parole and has no criminal record, don't worry go for it. There is nothing to worry about. Pray constantly and trust in God. any questions let me know......
