GC approved during Interview but no update on status

PD : 11/08/2016 AOS married to USC
Interview : 04/19/2017 at LA
The officer was super nice and our was the first interview at 7:15am. Interview went smooth. IO officer ask of IDs and original BC as I had an RFE on that. he then confirmed that I am on H1B. Also ask for original Marriage certificate and spouse Naturalization certificate. Then he ask about how we met. he also note down the matrimonial website name as its a arrange marriage and our parents initiate the conversation. in between he made some funny comment. He asked for the marriage ceremony. As we were explaining him we showed him photo album of our big frat Indian Wedding :). He asked us to take out 10 pics and he made copies of those for his records. He also asked for any more proof that we are living together other than apt lease document. we gave the big bundle of documents and he said that we are very well prepared. He then just ask yes/no questions. Then he turned around and picked up a white paper which is a approval notice (looks like he already approve before the interview).
Really thanks to this forum that help me and my wife to fully prepared for Interview.
However, the status on i-485 and i-130 is not yet updated. I called USCIS and they said it will upto 30 days to get status update.
I was reading on other posts that many people get there status update on the same day of interview if IO approved them on spot.
anybody on facing same situation?
