Boston interview
Thanks to this post I was able to keep my sanity during this process. Here is our timeline

PD 10/6/16
EAD 12/27/16
Interview 4/24/17
Approved at the interview. Boston field office

The Boston office interviews the US citizen first. The immigrant needs to wait in the waiting room. I am the USC. The officer brought me into the room and swore me in. She asked my name, address, citizenship, and birthday. She then asked all the samE questions about my husband. She then flipped through all of our original paperwork we submitted. While she flipped through she asked about a concert (we gave copies of photos and ticket stubs). She then asked for the new evidence we had. She looked at the paperwork of a new car we had purchased together and asked about that. I included little tidbits in my answers that helped to show our relationship is real. For example I told her I taught my husband how to drive. She also asked about our joint bank account and if we use direct deposit or withdrawals.

She then went and got my husband and swore him in. I got to stay in the room while she interviewed him. She asked him his name, birthday, address, phone number, citizenship and when he got here. She asked all of the yes no questions on the form and made him verbally answer each one. Then she asked him a few of the questions she had asked me.

The officer was very friendly and made us feel comfortable. She approved us on the spot. The whole process took about 30-40 mins. Our interview time was 2:15 but we weren't called in until 3:15. By the time we got to our car our status was updated to card is being produced.
