Hello guys please help me. It's kind of long, but please read. Thank you.
Hello, hope all is well. So I had my interview last year in February, went my lawyer and everything well, only messed up on one question, but it wasn't a serious one, I messed up the dates for when she started working, overall it was good. Me and my wife got married in April 2015, so we originally thought that were going to get a two years, but here I am, still waiting for my card, 2 years later waiting for my card. The officer sent me an RFE for more evidence and we provided everything. My medicals and fingerprints expired last month, so she sent an RFE to get a new one, but the only issue was that usually an RFE gives you 30 days and this officer only gave us 2 weeks! My lawyer was so upset because that's not how an RFE works, but I was still able to get my fingerprints done and medicals done. She wanted everything by the 18th of this month. I gave it to my lawyer and he sent it. This is the last step and I will get my 10 year card because we've been married for 2 years. Yesterday I received a mail that my I 130 was approved, but when I called my lawyer, he told me that my I 485 was abandoned probably because my evidence didn't get on her desk, which it doesn't make sense because my lawyer made sure that it will get there on time. He has proof and everything. This officer has history of being lazy, late and always giving problems. My lawyer went to the USCIS office in chicago to try and talk to the officer supervisor, but she wasn't there today. I did everything that she wanted, my lawyer sent everything on time! why does she have to do this? I can't even sleep at night, stressed and anxious. My lawyer said that there's many ways to get the case reopened so I can get my card, but I'm still very nervous and sad. Has this ever happened before with anyone? any success stories? PLEASE HELP.
