Visitor Visa - B2

Hi All,

I attended a visa interview on 10th April for b1/b2 for me and my kid and got rejected.

It goes like this -

Whats your purpose of visit? - To attend my cousin's graduation day

2) Which university? - University of Michigan, Detroit

3) Where is your cousin now? She at Detroit

4) Who is xyz? He is my son

5) Is he your only child? Yes

6) Where will you stay when you go there? I will be staying with my cousin

7)How long will you stay there? 12 days

8) Who else will be traveling along with you? My parents, me and my son

9) what about your uncle and aunt? - they will be joining us there

10) what do you do? I am a housewife

11) what does your husband do? he is a doctor

12) he practices in public or private hospital? he has his own clinic set up where he practices

13) is he traveling along with you? No

14) What is the per annum income for your husband? i said 1 lakh rupees per annum, i immediately corrected myself and said 1 lakh rupees per month

the 14th question was the last question and she returned back the passport and said you are denied visa. She gave me a form and asked me to read the reason for rejection in that. This way the interview ended

Could you all please let me know what went wrong and what points to keep in mind this time when i will be re-appearing for interview on 2nd May
