F2A to IR-6
Today I had an Infopass appointment that would like to share with this community. Hope you find it useful.

Late march I applied for AOS base on marriage to US Citizen. But back in 2013 I filed and approved and I-130 based on Marriage to my spouse when she was GreenCard holder. Back then I did not file for consular processing as I have had stayed beyond my visa and would have triggered 10 year bar. So when she became a citizen this year we filed I-485, I-864, I-765 and I-693 (No I-131). When I got my notice of action it still said my priority date (Jan-2013) and my relationship and F2A. I called multiple time to resolve the issue to no avail. Finally got and Infopass and talked to a live person today. She said it is normal to have my previous condition stated on Notice of Action of I-485 from an approved I-130 case. She pointed out that an adjudicating officer will review the evidence and upgrade the case to IR-6.

I also did my Biometric last Monday and asked about the status of that and she said in less than one week both FingerPrint and NameCheck came back clear. She asked me how long I have been married and I said “11 years”. She said cases like this might be adjudicated without interview. Due to the long time together and having a child.

Time line:
(01-07-2013) I-130 Sent (Under F2A because spouse was LPR).
(08-08-2013) I-130 Approved.
(03-27-2017) I-485 Sent. (Under IR-1 because spouse has naturalized).
(03-29-2017) I-485 Received.
(04/05/2017) Check Cashed.
(04/05/2017) I-485 Online Status (Fingerprint Fee Accepted).
(04/05/2017) I-485 Text/Email Notification Received.
(04/10/2017) I-485 Notice of Action Received.
(04/14/2017) Fingerprint Appointment Notice Received
(04/24/2017) Biometric Done.
