PLEASE HELP TO CLARIFY I-485, I-765, I-131
Hi All,
I married an american man and we submitted all the paperwork at the beginning of March.
-I did the fingerprints on April 10th in Elizabeth (NJ)
-on April 24th my I-485 case status was updated online with" Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" and I did not get any other updates since then.
- forms I-765 (application for employment authorization) and I-131 (Application for travel document) are still not updated on the USCIS website.
I've been told that they usually come before the interview, why is the I-485 case updated and the work permit and the AP are still not updated when I try to check them online?
Does anyone know how long it will take to receive the work and travel authorization after the I-485 shows "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview" ?
I tried to call the customer service but of course they don't know the timing, I am very upset, I would love to be able to work and I want to travel home to see my family and I cannot do anything until I get those permits.
Please share your experience with me and please please give me more details on this case if you can! thank you so much
