Interview experience Chicago
So i had my interview today.
Pd - 12/21
Got my EAD about two weeks ago.
I don't know how the interview went because i was told my case is being held for review.
But the woman was nice, i don't trust white people though.
It lasted for 10mins, we even asked her is that all.
She only asked me when i came here.
Other questions were directed to my husband. I'm hoping that maybe cos my husband has a government job, maybe that helped as well thats why we were not really scrutinized.
Like what is my name DOB, how and where we met. That was it.
Then she asked if we had any documents to show we lived together, so we handed our utility bills and bank statements.
Then she said it would be reviewed and if there was anything she needed then she will mail us.
Then she explained about the 2years conditions on the GC, in my mind I'm like why are you explaining this if you don't want to approve on the spot.
In all it was a very smooth calm and relaxed interview,
I'm like is this what has given me sleepless nights all thi week. Even God will rest this week, ahh, i called his name so bad.
The way i prayed ehn, God might get angry, cos i was calling his name like my life depended on this interview.
So fingers crossed now, so the wait continues, Im just so glad the interview is over.
Also very grateful to God, cos i never believed my husband could be so cooperative. Cos that was my biggest fear, until we entered the uscis building i was so sure he would screw me over.
I wish everyone else best of luck and will update as soon as i get an update.
