Hello everyone, this is my first time in this forum. I have been following this forum for awhile. It gives me hope to apply for the advance parole travel document. I was brought here since I was 1 years old in which I have no memory of. I applied the travel document through an immigration lawyer. My reason to travel back to Mexico is for humanitarian reasons which is because of my grandparents. They are becoming very ill. Moving on from there I decided that I want to travel back to Mexico to visit them. Here is my timeline:

PD: February 7, 2017
USCIS received: February 13th, 2017
Case status change to "your name has been updated" on April 25, 2017
Case statue change on April 28th, 2017 to "your document has been mailed to you to the following address, if you don't receive by May 28th, contact USCIS" (i did not know what this means. There was no approval online or anything)
Today, May 5th 2017, I received a letter and I was in shock. It has my picture in it and I only requested for 30 days. They gave me 3 months to travel.

I thank god and have been praying everyday for this opportunity. I am going to continue to pray until this whole journey is finished.
