I have been a silent reader of this forum for a couple of weeks , I have been reading conflicting stories about RFE and am wondering if anyone has had the same experience as me and if so can they tell me if an RFE on my I 485 will really reset the clock back to zero for my EAD/AP

RFE receipt from USCIS April 26th
I would be on day 96 now if I hadn't had RFE
any guesses what happens next ?
