February 2017 PD. Interview done
Hello,
Below is my timeline for AOS based on marriage to a US Citizen. I am on OPT stem extension valid till September 2017. My F1 expired in 2015. Got married on January 25 2017 in a courthouse

Cleveland office

PD: February 14, 2017
Biometrics done: March 23 2017
Ready to be scheduled for interview: April 5th 2017
Interview date: May 10 2017
EAD with AP received: May 6 2017

Interview done: May 10 2017 at 1 PM
Experience:
Interview was straighforward. It lasted a total of 20 mins. We were interviewed by Officer Boyd, after making us take an oath, she proceeded to start asking questions and told us that the whole interview is recorded. Most of the questions were directed towards my USC spouse (husband). Some questions are:

USC Spouse:
Where do you live?
Who lives with you in your house? (My wife and I)
How many bedrooms are there in your house? 2
What do you do with the 2nd bedroom? (Study/guest room)
Where do you work?
Went through his 325A and asked for past addresses
How did you meet your wife? (we met in 2005 when he came to India on a visit with his family. We met at a family event, and just kept in touch through emails until I came to do my masters in 2010)
When did your relationship turn romantic? (2015)
You took 10 years to realize you like her? (with a funny tone) You need to be careful with answering that question in front of your wife lol
Where and when did you get married?
Who were present at the ceremony? Judge, Judge's assistant and an officer
No family or friends attended your wedding? No. We are going to have a traditional ceremony in India later
When is your wife's birthday?
Where was your wife born?

Questions to me:
What is your husband's mom's first name?
When did you first come to the US and how many times did you enter and leave US?
Where and when was the last place of entry?
Do your parents still live in India?
And then she proceeded to ask me a bunch of criminal background yes/no questions.

She said she is submitting my application for approval and if there is nothing else they need from me, they will approve the petition the same day and asked if I have any questions.

I asked about what my status would be between now and receiving my card in mail (which she said would take 30-45 days), she said I can use my EAD with AP until I receive my permanent resident card.

She gave me a document that said "Your application/petition has been recommended for approval" and told me I can track the status online.

My status is still stuck at "Interview was scheduled" but I think as always, the online system is slower than the actual processing. I am not complaining though. The whole process was done in less than 3 months for me, which is very unexpected.
