Successful stamping @ Vancouver on 5/11
Silent reader and first time poster. I won't go into the details of scheduling the appointment.

- Appointment: 05/11 at 7.45 AM. I got there around 7.20 and was told to wait it out until 7.45.
- I got to the interview floor (20th) at 8.10 with probably 15-18 people ahead of me. Most of them were from either China or Korea along with few Canadian desis for visitor visa. All desis for visitor visa were rejected.
- There were two girls for H1B at the front of the line and both of them got their approvals within 4-5 mins.
- Another H1B interviewee ahead of me was grilled on questions like OPT timings, CAP gap, he was asked to show his W2s. He was still being grilled when I left after my interview.

My interview:
VO: Good morning.
Me: Morning ma'am.

VO: So do you work for ZZZ
Me: Yes I do.

VO: What's your title?
Me: Senior Architect.

After typing for a 30 seconds or so....
VO: *smiling* I can't spell architect :-)

VO: What's your salary?
ME: YYYY US dollars

VO: Your visa is approved, should be ready in 3-5 business days.

Overall a very smooth process. Like many have said before, please be confident. It's their job to issue you a visa, help them out.
