According to my lawyer he sent the I-485, I 131 and I 756 on April 26, 2017. As of today I did not received anything in the mail or email. I called USCIS on Tuesday they told me that since 10 days had past I will need to talk with Level II representative. I spoke with the level II representative and since I have a I - 130 approved he asked me for that received #. He said that he cannot see any application in the system for me. So I called my lawyer he said that he would contact USCIS. He called me back later on and said that he spoke with USCIS and they told him that they cannot process my application because he did not send the original passports. So I went and gave him the original passport. I do not why he needs the original passport and why USCIS is giving me different information? please help me to understand this.
